True Ebonite
Ebonite is a great material made from natural rubber with a durable, warm, and luxurious feel for handwriting. Ebonite was originally used to make fountain pens in the early 20th century. However, due to its complexity in production, it was later abandoned by most manufacturers in favor of various plastics, which were easier to work with.
Today, as a homage to traditional pen manufacturing, we are honored to restore Ebonite as the material of all of our pens.
The True Ebonite fountain pen is a combination of vintage materials and minimal design. Our Ebonite is crafted into your fountain pen with the highest precision. Hold your True Ebonite fountain pen and feel the best quality in material for writing instruments.

Beautiful and Extremely Well-Crafted Brown Marble Ebonite Dream Pen!
"I love the appearance, fit and finish of my new Wancher True Ebonite Dream Pen. The Jowo stainless steel nib in Broad is an exceptionally smooth and nicely wet writer. This is the third Wancher True Ebonite Dream Pen that I have purchased, and probably not my last purchase of a Wancher True Ebonite Pen. I especially like the Marble Brown color fitted with a gold nib and Sakura Roll-Stopper. My only “complaint” is that the color of the Roll-Stopper seems to be more silver than gold, and doesn’t complement the color of the golden nib. I wish Wancher would provide the option of ordering the beautiful Sakura Roll-Stopper in either silver or gold for those of us who wish to closely match the color of the nib."

una pluma tan cara y
"una pluma tan cara y que no le sale la tinta en forma continua, la escritura es dura, no se siente suave como en otras stub"

Not going to be a favorite
"The uncapped pen itself fits my hand perfectly. Jowo nibs are great. Love the feel and would give it 5 stars easily. However the pattern on the cap doesn’t align with the same pattern on the pen when screwed on completely. Not even close. And the main issue is the size of the cap. Why so big around and long? It makes the whole pen too big to fit in any of my leather pen cases. It dwarfs my 823. That’s big. It could be shorter (the cap) and not affect the looks at all ( Pilot E95 for example). The pen is so normal in size uncapped, why put a big awkward looking cap on it? Just not impressed with the proportions. Humongous fountain pen and uses the international short cartridge? Sure glad it came with a converter. Would be perfect with a metal cap the same diameter as the pen and shorter in length, assuming that would be impossible with the Ebonite."

A new daily writer
"I am so glad that I decided to purchase one of these because it has quickly become one of my favorite pens. It is perfectly balanced and effortless to write with; the nib just glides across the page. It feels substantial yet is still lightweight so my hand doesn't get tired even during long writing sessions. The ebonite has a gorgeous pattern to it, feels fantastic, and is polished very well. I really love this pen."
