Kuretake Art Nouveau Color Ink
Kuretake was established in 1902 during the flourishing "Art Nouveau" beauty movement. This ink series draws inspiration from color lithographs that were prevalent as popular art during that era. Kuretake adopted the six new popular colors of the time and put it into the bottle for glass pen and fountain pen users to enjoy.
Perkin Mauve
This color became very popular due to the dress worn by Queen Victoria, and many women wearing dresses in this color were depicted on posters at the time. The world's first chemical dye was developed by William Perkin.
