Description

Note: Since these fountain pens are unplanned artworks of our Artisans, there are only one or very few pieces made at a time, and they will be most likely not come back. Yet if they do, you may have to wait for a long time to see them again.

Artisan Pens Collection

Carrying on our mission to support and preserve traditional craftsmanship, this time, we proudly introduce a remarkable collection of limited fountain pens - the Artisan Pens.

Traditional craftsmen do not prefer making the same works; there are times when they randomly create one and only unique pieces. We saved those pieces for the Artisan Pens collection - precious storage to gather all the spontaneous artworks, treasure traditional and authentic values.

Great pen

"The pen is amazing as with all my Wancher pens. The design is so much better in person. People are always asking me to look at it, that how eye catching it is. Another great pen thanks."

beautiful

"The hand-painted Vietnamese lacquer finish is beautiful, delicate and colorful. There is a nashiji-like finish on the grip, though less textured than true nashiji. Gold is sprinkled on certain parts of the image and more densely towards the end of the barrel. It glows with the light at certain angles; towards the bottom, where it enhances the algae, it shines green and glistens when the sun hits it. The red goldfish are striking in the body of the pen. The look of the pen is less brilliant or smooth than appears on the photos, and certainly so when placed on the side of true urushi; it is not matte, more a satin shine. This is not quite true maki-e, but neither is the price; and the result is well worth it. The pen is a dream pen and handles like all dream pens. I have it with a 18K Wancher B nib. A beauty of a fountain pen and a wonderful writing instrument."
