Your Wancher writing instrument has been manufactured only with the finest quality materials. Our production method includes numerous quality assessments applied to every step of the creation of the product. The strict quality control ensures that the product you have chosen will be as functional as it is beautiful.
Your Wancher writing instrument is guaranteed for one year from the date of original purchase against defects in materials or craftsmanship*. If found to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use within the warranty period, your Wancher product will be repaired or replaced free of charge.
*Item(s) must be returned under these conditions before proceeding with any repair, replacement or refund.
*Products under $100 in price are not eligible for warranty.
This warranty does not cover the following:
1. Routine maintenance or damage resulting from the failure to maintain the product in accordance with instructions provided by Wancher
2. Ordinary wear and tear arising from use of the product, or damage caused from accidents, misuse, abuse, unauthorized service and the use of refills or inks which do not conform to the instructions provided for the product.
3. The variations in texture and/or color of some certain natural materials, such as: wood, Ebonite, coating, lacquer, etc. These aforementioned factors are not defects; rather, they are natural attributes which bring beauty and uniqueness to each product.
If you bought your Wancher product from a retailer and it has a manufacturer's defect, please contact the retailer to get further instruction.
Gift Warranty
If you have received Wancher product as a gift and encountered an issue with the product afterwards, kindly inqure whom you received the gift from the order number or the email address used for making the order from Wancherpen.com.
We are not responsible for the product purchased without original order ID from no other platform than www.wancherpen.com.
Our Warranty does not apply for products sold for resale or for commercial purposes.
For making an inquiry regarding a product, please state your order number and send us both pictures or video of where the issue can be understood.
The inquiry cannot be taken into account in case the required documents or proof of the issue cannot be presented.
Leather Goods
Subject to applicable conditions and exclusions, leather goods are protected from the original date of purchase by a six-month limited warranty (proof of purchase required). If the leather good proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use anytime within the warranty period, we will repair or replace the item free of charge with same or comparable product.
Defective leather goods will not be returned to customer.
The variations in color and texture are the prized characteristics of beautiful tanned leather. Over time, the leather will acquire a patina and may also darken due to the oils from your skin and direct sunlight, further enhancing the natural look of your handbag or small leather item.

Conditions and Exclusions
The warranty does not cover damages arising from dye transference, accidents or misuse, or from any alteration, service or repair performed by any party other than Wancher Inc.
If you have purchased your Wancher® product from a retailer and feel the item has a manufacturer's defect, please contact your retailer and return them to the place of purchase.
Wancher Inc. does not offer a guarantee or repair service on merchandise purchased from an off-priced retailer or unauthorized retailer.

Free Returns and Exchanges
Wancher is committed to making your shopping experience a success. If you are not 100% satisfied with your online purchase, we will happily accept returns for a full refund or exchange any Wancher products purchased on the website for up to 30 days following delivery.
Proof of purchase or packing slip invoice is required for reimbursement of the full purchase price. In all cases, refunds will be made in the form of the original payment.
In case that the return product is not a damaged or defective item and/or because of personal reasons/preferences, we will deduct the original shipping fee and 10% re-stocking fee from the refund payment.
Returns and exchanges are subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. Product must be returned in a new and unused state, in perfect condition with the Wancher original box or package, including all accessories and documents (if applicable). Wancher will not accept any return if the product shows signs of wear, or has been used or altered from its original condition in any way.
2. Personalized products cannot returned to Wancher for exchange or refund.
3. Writing instruments that have been inked, as well as bottles and refills that have been opened, cannot be returned to Wancher.
4. If you have received free items as part of your order, they must be returned with the products unless you receive different instruction from our representatives.
5. All returns will be subject to strict quality control by Wancher to ensure that the returned products satisfy these requirements. If the products do not meet the quality control standards, Wancher will refuse the return, and send back the products to the customer or recipient after informing the customer about the case. If the returned product satisfies the quality control standards, Wancher will process the applicable refund or exchange as soon as possible.
6. For customers who want to exchange nib due to personal preference and not due to the product found defective, the two-way shipping cost will be borne by customer.
7. Product is not from AS IS Sale collection
Repair Fee
Inner cap installation: 25 USD
Inner cap part only: 10 USD
Gold nib: full price of the nib itself
Scratches on the body or cap of an Urushi pen caused by accidents are eligible for repair.
However, in most cases, it requires replacing the part rather than repairing the Urushi itself because once Urushi is applied, it cannot be taken off and re-applied.
When scheduling the pickup of your product, please note that the courier's failure to arrive, or the customer's inability to be present during the pickup time will not be the fault of Wancher, and that in such matters, it would be advisable for the customer to contact the local courier directly, as Wancher has no control over the courier service's schedule.

Customs Duty / Tax Charges
All Wancher products are shipped from Japan and the actual value of your order will be declared to customs. Please be aware that you are responsible for all customs and import fees when the parcel reaches the destination country. We will not be responsible for any customs and import fees charged.
Since customs fees varies from country to country, the customs and import fee might be different depending on your shipping address. Please check with your country's regulations to calculate the fees.
If customs and duties are not paid and the item is requested to be returned, Wancher will be liable to pay for the customs charges. For this reason upon the return of the product at our warehouse the tax fee will be deducted from the refunded amount and the shipping fee will not be refunded.
Please be aware that prolonged failure to receive the product, numerous changes made on delivery times and dates, delayed changes in addresses may be subject to additional charges by the shipping couriers.
These additional charges will not be borne by Wancher. If the product is returned due to extra charges incurred by the aforementioned reasons, the total amount of the fees will be deducted from the refunded amount.
