Since our founding over 14 years ago, we have had the unique privilege of being able to collaborate with authorized dealers from all around the world, ranging from Maison Wa in Paris, Stilo & Stile in Italy, Japanese Microbrands in Germany, Federalist Pens in the United States, and many more. As a small brand from Oita Prefecture, Japan, it has been a dream come true to be represented in so many different countries. Even as we continue to reach for new cities and countries, however, we want to honor our roots by ensuring our pens can be found right here in Oita. Thanks to our continued collaboration with Oita Made, we will be able to do just that for the forseeable future.

Beppu is a city located in Oita Prefecture, and it is considered the Onsen ("Hot Spring") capital of the entire world. It is also home to many members of the Wancher company. The prefecture as a whole is renowned, not only for our hot springs, but also for locally made products such as Kabosu (limes), Toriten (fried chicken), and since our founding, pens. "Oita Made" is a brand entirely focused on supporting locally produced products, which means that their first priority is raising awareness for Oita-based companies instead of sheer profit. This is why it was so natural for us to collaborate with Oita Made on the Japan Blue Fountain Pen, Japan Red Fountain Pen, and most notably, the Stardust Fountain Pen, where we provided our expertise in writing instruments, allowing them to focus on manufacturing.
Just as Oita Made has made it a priority to represent local businesses, we have made it our goal to be recognized as an Oita-based company, making it our pride and joy. This is part of what galvanized us to visit schools in Oita prefecture on an annual basis to share our enthusiasm for fountain pens and glass pens. This is yet another reason why we made a commitment to be one of the only SDG (sustainable development goal) abiding companies in the region. Even as we are represented across the globe, we want to be amongst our fellow Oita companies at the Oita Made store.
The Pens at Oita Made
In addition to the Japan Blue Fountain Pen, you can now see beginner-friendly pens like the MOFU Blueberry and Vanilla Milkshake, the innovative Olympus Titan, our iconic True Ebonite - Matte Black, the handcrafted Echizen Urushi - Omoide Zakura, and soon, the indigo-dyed Sekai Ai - Dove Zogan Fountain Pen. We fully intend to continue adding more pens in the future, but until then, we believe that this variety shows a glimpse of what makes our brand.

Located near Oita Station, all you have to do is look out for a big red brick building (the Aka Renga), and you'll find our pens proudly displayed inside.
