Wancher Fountain Pen Nib Guide
・Keiryu Stainless Steel Nib (Keiryu Original) is adjusted by Nib Master Nagahara with European Broad size.
・If you would like to have your nibs sharpened to an even finer nib, you can request a custom-made (Keiryu KODACHI) sharpening nib (additional cost will be charged).
The sharpening comes in three sizes: Fine, Medium, and Broad.
The nibs are only available with Plastic Feed.

From April 2022, the design of Jowo Stainless Steel #6 will be gradually altered, yet there will be no change with the Wancher logo on all nibs.
Jowo Stainless Steel Size #5 is available in Fine & Medium size with Plastic Feed.
Sunset Matama Stainless Steel is Wancher in-house Semi-flex Hard nib with Japanese Fine size.
The nibs are only available with Plastic Feed.

Kunisaki Glass Dip Pen has a tipping size between Broad and Extra Broad nib size (European standard size). The nib writes smoothly on any kind of paper that is compatible with fountain pens and glass pens.

The Ebonite feed will have a wetter ink flow and a more consistent line width.
- Compared to Jowo Stainless Steel, Wancher 18K Gold/ 21K Gold/Wancher Stainless Steel/Shizuku Glass Nib has a finer writing point, with a comparatively one-size smaller line width than Jowo or other European nibs.

SPECIAL NIB CUSTOMIZATION
Welcome!
It is our privilege to be able to offer nib customization by the legendary Master Nagahara for a variety of our own nibs. A customized nib from Master Nagahara is called a Kodachi Nib, and you can learn more about the process in this video.
For further customization of a nib by Master Nagahara, it will be an additional cost due to the increased labor, time, and effort of the endeavor. This cost will vary depending on the specific requests made by the customer (for example, a specific size not offered by us), and it will include the cost of two-way shipment between Wancher Headquarters and Master Nagahara's address.
If you wish to request the customization of a Kodachi or Keiryu Kodachi Nib by Master Nagahara, please send an email to info@wancher.com explaining your preferences. After we have consulted with The Nib Shaper, we will let you know if it will be possible. Once we accept your order, it may take 3-6 weeks before your customized nib will be ready to be shipped.
Please note that in the event that you have requested the customization of an 18K or 21K Nib into either Fine, Medium, or Broad sizes that the engraving on the nib that you receive may indicate a different size. The reason for this is that in order to perfectly shape / customize the nib into the three aforementioned sizes, The Nib Shaper must take a nib of a larger size (for example, MF) and shape it down to a smaller F size. Therefore, please do not worry if you find that the engraving of the nib shows a different size. If you already have an 18K or 21K Nib from Wancher, then you have the option of sending your nib in for Kodachi customization provided you pay the roundtrip shipping fee (50 USD) in addition to the cost of the customization itself.
